The ex-girlfriend of a Love Island star Stevie-Leigh Pich has been spotted at Sydney Airport days after skipping a court appearance over drug driving charges.
The 25-year-old was charged with driving a vehicle with an illicit drug present in January after she tested positive to cocaine during a roadside drug test in Hillsdale, in Sydney’s east.
She gained public attention when she exposed ex-boyfriend and former Love Island UK star Connor Durman of applying for the dating show while they were still in a relationship.
Pich was scheduled to appear at Waverley Court on Tuesday after she was charged for allegedly driving a vehicle with an illicit drug present- though she never showed up for court.
She shared a few scandalous snaps to her 20,000 Instagram followers on her private account over the weekend.
The happy snaps show the influencer dressed in a black fur trim coat with two glasses of white wine on the table beside her and the location tagged as the American Express Lounge at Sydney Airport.
She a second image alongside the lyrics to “Greaze Mode” by British grime rapper Skepta including the line “Imma break the law”.
Pich was driving a VW Golf along Bunnerong Rd in January when she was stopped for a breath test.
She returned a negative reading to alcohol but tested positive for cocaine and told officers she “hadn’t done it for two weeks”.
The UK woman was issued a court attendance notice but failed to face Waverley Local Court at the end of June.
She was convicted in her absence, fined $1500 and was disqualified from driving for six months.
Pich immediately filed an annulment application to have the conviction quashed and pleaded guilty.
However, when she was due to face Waverley Local Court for sentence on Tuesday, her lawyer told the court that Pich was willing to undertake the traffic offenders program.
“She’s got a significant history for drugs, does she really think the program will help?” magistrate Jacqueline Milledge said.
“She has an awful driving record, she wants an adjournment to do a traffic offender program … she has a serious drug program, I don’t care if she’s doing the program or not.”
Ms Milledge continued to say Pich had a “problem with drugs”.
Her lawyer told the court she believed Pich had turned up on Tuesday, but when she went outside, she was nowhere to be found.
“She wasn’t excused, she should be here today,” Ms Milledge said.
“She can go and do it (the program) but she’s got a drug problem and that’s what the court is going to be taking into consideration.”
Three days before her first court appearance, Pich posted a photo to Instagram with the caption “as innocent as they come”.
A day later she posted another story saying she had written off her car.
Pich dated the Love Island star for three years and took to social media in January 2020 to say she was going through a “very hard time”.
The matter was adjourned to August 24 for sentence.
