Major delays and cancellations are ahead for passengers flying through Sydney Airport as strong winds lash the city.
About 37 flights have already been cancelled before 8am on Monday morning.
A Sydney Airport spokesman said strong winds have forced the airport to run off one of their three runways.
This has caused some flight delays and cancellations.
Passengers are urged to speak to their airlines to get the latest information on the status of their flights.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast winds of up to 45km/h in Sydney.
