Telstra has been crippled by a major network outage overnight, with some customers unable to make or receive phone calls.
The e company has issued an alert on it’s website informing customers that they are working to resolve an issue that occurred on Monday night.
“We‘re sorry for the late night hassle for our customers,” the alert read.
“Some customers may be experiencing an issue making and receiving calls.”
Triple-0 calls and mobile data aren’t affected.
If customers are experiencing issues, they recommend they switch aeroplane mode on and off or try making a data call using Wi-Fi calling or other apps such as FaceTime.
